Pfeiler send off – there will be a going away gathering for the Pfeilers this Saturday, July 21 at 6:00. Bring some munchies to share and enjoy some fellowship.

Cleaning Crew – we are in need of another team for our clean crew. Teams clean about once every 10 weeks. It takes about 2 hours. If you are interested talk to Lee McNutt.

Display for Service Men & Women Sandra is still trying to put together a display of military men & women that we pray for every week. It has been decided to alter the composition of this display. We would like to include the service member’s name, branch of service and how they are connected to our parish. A picture and where they are stationed will no longer be included. In addition, we would like to include a list of our veterans. If you would send your name and branch of service and dates of service we will gladly add it to the display. Please send the information to (smhaight7)

Life Line Screening – August 27 – Please sign up for a life line screening if you haven’t had one this year or pass the information along to anyone you know. Sign-up using this link. You will also find some special coupons at this site for St. Anne’s parishioners. www.LifeLineScreening.com/community-partners

Blessing of the Backpacks – Aug. 12 – Between now and our annual Blessing of the Backpacks we will be collecting basic school supplies to donate to Lee’s Summit Elementary. Supplies might include notebook paper, pencils, crayons, markers, construction paper, glue, glue sticks, 2 pocket folders, Kleenex and hand sanitizer. Stores such as Target and Wal-Mart generally have a school supply list for the various schools in the district that you can review for other suggestions.

Legos, Legos, Legos!!! – This fall we are going to use a new Sunday School Curriculum called Building Faith Brick by Brick. It uses Lego blocks as an extension to the week’s story. If you have any Lego blocks, mini figures, or Playmobile people that you would be willing to donate to our program please see Laura Zimmer.

St. Anne’s has gone live – As you have probably heard St. Anne’s is live streaming our Sunday services. If you miss church, you can watch us on YouTube at 10:00 . A link is provided on our website and our facebook page. As we are streamlining this process, if you get a chance to watch, share some feedback with Eric or Meg.

If you have something for the mid-week greetings or the Sunday announcement sheet, please email that to laura. Please send Mid-week notices by Wed. at 9:00 am and Sunday Announcements by Sunday at 8:00am.

Altar Guild – The Altar Guild is looking for new members.

Choir – The choir is looking for a few more voices. No auditions or age requirements!

Sunday SchoolTeachers for Sunday school are always needed and welcome. It is a fairly simply but crucially important ministry. There is no need to be a theological scholar. Teachers are scheduled a month at a time. Teachers are needed for 2 classes; grades 1-3 and grades 4-8. Grades 4-8 uses a curriculum published by the Episcopal church that follows the liturgy. It gives activities and guided discussion ideas. The younger class meets first with the PK-gr. 1 class to hear a story, then separates to their own classroom for discussion and activities. Materials and supplies are provided.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.—Matthew 5:9
