Worship at Saint Anne’s

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. – John 13:34-35

Sunday at Saint Anne’s

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10am. We celebrate the Holy Eucharist every Sunday. All materials you will need are provided to you in your bulletin.

As God created you, we welcome you. This applies to our children as well. God created the wiggle, we do not attempt to suppress it. For our youngest members we offer a nursery. For children through middle school we offer Sunday School during the first half of our service. All children join us for the Eucharist. These are options only. If your child would prefer to join us during the service we welcome them warmly. Rocking chairs are available if desired.

Every Sunday we offer coffee time after the service. This is a time to grab a snack and enjoy fellowship.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is a group of ladies who prepare the altar before each service. Each Sunday there are two members of the guild assigned for preparation and clean-up. This is a very meaningful ministry and enriches one’s appreciation of the service.

IMG_4387-001Music is a big part of our life together at St. Anne’s Church. Our vocal choir assists in leading worship at our Sunday service and at other services during the year. Our hand bell ringers are also an important part of our worship. A number of our members play their instruments during our services, on a regular basis, as well.

The most recent addition to our music program is a brass group, that plays during worship services at St. Anne’s and at various venues in the community, such as nursing homes.

Our Joyful Noise Children’s Choir holds its rehearsals prior to the Sunday School time in preparation for the Choir providing special music during worship several times during the year.

Hand Bells

The goal of the bell choir ministry is to make joyful sounds using the two and one half octaves of bells and additional tone bells. This beautiful, ancient form of music supports the weekly liturgy. The bells were acquired through generous donations to St. Anne’s Episcopal church.

Each ringer is vitally important to the function of the bell choir. Rehearsal is held twice a month on Sundays before church. Members range from sixth grade to seniors. New members are welcome who can read music. Prior bell playing experience is not required. Come join and learn the art of handbell ringing.
