Vacation Bible
School 2007

Over 50 children "took the plunge and made a splash with
Jesus" at St. Anne's Vacation Bible School on Friday, August 3rd.
The nave of the church was transformed into the "Wellspring Lagoon" and
"Bibleland Bay," and the day was filled with stories about Jesus,
activities, food, fun and even two water slides. At the end of the
day, the children received certificates and bags filled with special
treats to help remind them of the things they had learned.

Blessing of the New School

On Sunday, August 19th, backpacks and book bags
surrounded the altar at St. Anne's Church as school students,
teachers and other school workers gathered at the end of the
worship service for a special "Back-to-School Litany."
Each student, teacher and school worker received a small cross
pin and a bookmark which featured prayers appropriate for the
beginning of the new school year. |
