Christian Formation

Will you continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers?
Liturgy for Holy Baptism, Book of Common Prayer

Forming Christians is in reality the focus of all we do at St. Anne’s. Through worship, outreach in the community, and caring for one another we seek to increase our faith, to grow in God’s grace, and to build up a community that serves God and the world that God loves so much.

Adults meet regularly for group bible study, and our Women’s Group meets monthly for Bible study, prayer and fellowship.

The St. Anne’s Prayer Chain shares prayer requests by e-mail with those who wish to be included. In addition, a group meets each Thursday afternoon at the church to offer intercessions and thanksgivings on behalf of the parish.

Our Youth Group (grades 6-12) meets for lunch after church once each month. In addition, they engage in a number of fellowship and service activities. Youth Group members are dedicated volunteers at St. Michael’s Necessity Panty. Recent fellowship activities have included an afternoon at Paradise Park, bowling, and ice skating. Our young people also participate in diocesan youth activities, like the Bishop’s Ball, Happening, Diocesan Youth Event, and Missionpalooza.
