 Mid-week greetings September 13, 2017

The Mid-Week Greetings is a weekly newsletter detailing parish life at St. Anne’s parish, Lee’s Summit, MO. It is updated and published weekly.

Bob Fitts – passed away Monday morning. May Light Perpetual shine upon him. Please keep Joyce and their family in your prayers. Bob’s funeral will be Saturday, September 23. Visitation at 2 and funeral at 3 at St. Anne’s.

Harvesters – The youth missed going to Harvesters during VBS this summer so we are hoping to go in October. The youth would like to invite the congregation to join them. There is a sign-up sheet on the counter in the narthex. If you are at all interested, please sign-up. We need a basic head count in order to secure a date. We will let you know once the date has been set. It is understood, that until you know the date you cannot commit definitively.

Sunday School – Thank you to everyone who has signed up to teach so far. We have September and October covered. There are still openings to teach. If you need more information contact Laura Zimmer.

Happening #76 – West Missouri Happening will be Sept. 22-24. Prayer is the power of Happening, when young people learn more of Jesus’ love. If you can take a half hour or more to pray for them over the weekend, please click the link, then click "sign up" at the time(s) you will pray for them. Thanks! http://youth.diowestmo.org/prayer.html
