July 23, two cyclists will begin the 75-mile ride between Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City and Grace Cathedral in Topeka.

The Ride for Haiti is the creation of the Rev. Jason Lewis, Rector of St. Mary Magdalene ,who will make the trip between the two cathedrals with his friend Joshua Stadler. The ride will benefit The Incarnation Project, a 5-parish collaborative mission in Le Pretre, Haiti.

Incarnation Project partners include St. Paul’s Lee’s Summit and St. Thomas the Apostle in Overland Park and two parishes in Florida. The project’s goals include  the construction of a new school building in the town of Le Pretre, providing school supplies, improving sanitation in the area and building relationships within the local community.

To make a pledge, send your check to St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, 16808 Holmes Rd., Village of Loch Lloyd MO 64012.
